Meetings

This initial step is an interactive exchange with the client to establish requirements and objectives. Our goal is to meet as many people in the company as necessary to determine the technical and cultural skill sets that will fit best within the client's environment. There are also times when it is appropriate for us to meet with board members.

Position Specification

Based on the information from these meetings, we create a concise and targeted description of the position. The job specification is used as a basis for assessing and screening potential candidates. The position description is also used as a tool to develop consensus within the organization and among the management team.

Research & Candidate Identification

We proactively search for candidates in industries where we are most likely to find individuals with our targeted skill set. Simultaneously, we develop candidates from our extensive industry contacts and sophisticated database.

Qualified applicants are carefully screened through one-on-one interviews. This process yields a handful of individuals who are considered high potential candidates. Candidates with whom we have had long term relationships are re-interviewed to ensure that their qualifications are appropriate for specific searches.

We understand that individual career objectives change over time. We are interested in maintaining relationships with the people we meet, staying in contact with them, and introducing them to new opportunities.

Our objective is to treat all candidates with respect, provide consistent evaluations and timely feedback, assist with career development, and provide referrals to useful resources.

Presentation of Candidates & Feedback

As a retained search firm, we are very selective about who we introduce to our clients. Therefore, our clients are able to leverage their time through us. Our experience allows us to draw detailed and candid feedback from both the client and candidates. We use this information to calibrate the search as it progresses.

Reference Checks & Verification

We complete degree verifications and perform reference checks from both the candidate's reference list and by using our extensive network. Our clients feel confident about their decision because we give them the opportunity to make their own reference calls in addition to our efforts.

Negotiations

It is our experience that each company has its own preferences concerning offer negotiations; thus, we assist with the process as appropriate. Our experience allows us to help both parties approach these discussions realistically.

Completion of the Search

We follow up with both the client and the candidate after each search is completed. We are interested in our client’s experience throughout the search process and appreciate receiving candid feedback. We take great pride in making quality introductions and value maintaining long-term relationships.
